Please take a look at the image attached. 
I tried to create an object z in memory, then call it with any function, such as  print([e for e in z]) or list(z), after that, z values become empty. 
Is it reasonable design or a bug? I found this appear in both python versions 3.6.5 and 3.7.0

The proper place to report this would be bugs.python.org (this is the bug tracker for the bug tracker ;) .

But do realize that you are running a very outdated version of Python 2 with an extension module, so chances are it either has already been fixed or it's a bug with the extension module you are using.
