There are appearently a lot of people that reuse passwords across sites, or use recognizable patterns in passwords for sites.

Anyway, non-https logins worry me enough that I try to avoid using them when I'm on a network where there is a clear chance of interception. I've attached an OpenID to my account, so should be safe enough during EuroPython  ;-)
