If I search the tracker with for Creater: terry.reedy with Status: don't care, I get 26838 issues, which I presume is all of them. Another name does the same. Ditto for Nosy list member and Last actor. I know the first two worked at least in Jan 2011 and perhaps more recently.

Logging out reverts to previous behavior (return all issues).

The linked site is unhelpful as it just says 'malware-detected' with no reference to Google. However, search Google for 'bugs jython' and the top results are all bugs.jython.org with "This site may harm your computer." added below the link. I emailed webmaster and fwierzbicki.

I'm looking for a simple way to monitor all changes to the jython
tracker to avoid a repeat of the spam that got into it recently. Any
of: an email list I could subscribe to for "all bugs to jython" or an
auto-nosy to all bugs, or anything else that I could do so I (and
hopefully someone else in the future if I can find another volunteer)
can see all content added to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Does anyone know a simple trick for this?

If I'm reading this right, we just need to add 'busybody_email=some-email-address' to the detectors/config.ini for the jython tracker instance.  So that could just be your address, if you don't want a full blown mailing list that others can subscribe to.  But if you want others to help, you might want to get a list set up and use that.

The critical thing really is that the spam was accumulating over quite some time and nobody was looking into it. This, in turn, is because the Jython tracker is (was?) unmaintained. I have now despammed it, and requested Google to rescan it, so Google has dropped its warning.

However, it may still be critical that there is no real maintenance for this tracker instance.
