I?ve added a ton of new material, and gone through and cleaned up all the existing pieces. I?m pretty stoked about it. If you have a chance, please take a look, and spread the word. I?d be grateful if you let me know about any new errors that might have crept in? Mark -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... This has been the first resource on Tkinter I'm recommending to my students and I'm really glad it has been reviewed and enhanced even more. I spent lockdown translating a Linux curses HowTo from C to Python. It started as a simple code translation exercise but I wound up completely editing the text and adding 2 new chapters and a significant case study! So I understand how these things tend to take on a life of their own! :-) Thanks for the effort. -- Alan G Author of the Learn to Program web site http://www.alan-g.me.uk/ http://www.amazon.com/author/alan_gauld Follow my photo-blog on Flickr at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alangauldphotos From alan.gauld at yahoo.co.uk Sat Oct 10 13:47:37 2020 From: alan.gauld at yahoo.co.uk (Alan Gauld) Date: Sat, 10 Oct 2020 18:47:37 +0100 Subject: [Tkinter-discuss] new location for John Shipman's Tkinter reference manual In-Reply-To: <1DE9CED6-013E-4832-B260-53DCAF05958E@markroseman.com> References: <1DE9CED6-013E-4832-B260-53DCAF05958E@markroseman.com> Message-ID: On 28/08/2020 20:20, Mark Roseman wrote: > In the interest of keeping this resource available on a more permanent > basis, I?ve placed a copy on the TkDocs site: > > https://tkdocs.com/shipman/ > If you maintain web pages that link to the original site, you?re more > than welcome to link to this copy.? Thanks for doing that, I have a link to this in my tutorial which I've just updated to this new location.
