[Spambayes] Spambayes toolbar and Outlook 2003

Using Outlook 2003 sp2
Exchange 2000
Spambayes 1.0.4 and 1.1a2
XP Pro sp2
 
Spambayes will grade and move spam suspects appropriately but toolbar
buttons to "Delete as Spam" and "Recover from Spam" have no effect.
 
Attempted, but feckless, self-help...
* rename all Office10 folders to Office10x
* various permutations of getting rid of the SpamBayes/all toolbars and
letting Outlook rebuild them.
* using cached mode for Excange
* checking to see if this was a matter of the Outlook display not
updating (it wasn't)
* unloading and reloading Spambayes, loading v1.1a2
 
Loved Spambayes, would love to use the buttons, please help
