I've tried Spampal 1.72g with their new transparent proxy but after I installed it, my VPN (Cisco) refused to establish any connection. If you watch the installation process of Spampal, you will see that this transparent proxy has several hooks, not just a single one and that scares me.  

So, I immediately removed it again from my system and have no problems with VPN anymore.
