[Spambayes] SpamBayes buttons won't work!

My filter sorts some emails when it first opens, but then the toolbar will not let me delete others.  I have reloaded software several times.  Ironically, the software worked for several weeks before this started.  I do not believe that any other software has been installed.  Please help!
