I'm not defensive.  I'm pointing out that the way for things to improve is
for people to make contributions (time, expertise, whatever).  If you don't
want to make a contribution, then that's your choice.  Given that this is
free software, you have no right to expect any assistance, however, and
generic "this is bad" statements don't help anyone.
