[Spambayes] Qmail, smtp-after-pop and the smtp-proxy!

First, SpamBayes doesn't filter outgoing mail sent via SMTP. The SMTP
proxy only allows you to train the filter by forwarding incorrectly
classified messages to a special e-mail address. If you aren't going to
train SpamBayes using this method then you should disable the SMTP
proxy.

Second, what version of SpamBayes are you running? This is a known
problem that was discovered in the 1.0a9 release, and the latest CVS
version includes a fix. The updated version gives you an option on the
configuration page to specify a list of trusted IP addresses that you
want to allow to connect to the SMTP proxy.

Subject: [Spambayes] Qmail, smtp-after-pop and the smtp-proxy!

My Qmail-Server has a rule called "smtp-after-pop". Well, since
Spambayes offers to serve as a SMTP-Proxy aswell, i configured it to do
so. Now i encounter the following Problem:

After having configured the sb_server to be a smtp-proxy for me, it does
so for everyone connected to the internet! Or in other words: Changing
Spambayes to become a smtp-proxy lets my qmail go OPEN-RELAY!
