[Spambayes] Problem with POP3 Proxy

I am using SpamBayes POP3 Proxy Version 0.4 (February 2004) (source),
with version 2.3.2 (#49, Oct  2 2003, 20:02:00) [MSC v.1200 32 bit
(Intel)] of Python; my operating system is Windows 5.1.2600.2 (Service
Pack 1).  I have trained 0 ham and 11 spam.    The problem I am having
is:    I am unable to train using redirect through my email client
(The Bat). The smtp proxy doesn't return any clues. This function was
working previous to v0.4.    Here is the log from my email client:
2/17/2004, 05:11:57: SEND  - sending mail messages - 3 messages in
