>>> We are reading these; it just takes a while to answer some (particularly
at
times like these when all the developers are fairly busy with other work),
particularly the more tricky ones, and particularly the ones that need
knowledge of how things work, rather than just how to use the software. <<<

I completely understand. Being new to the list, I wasn't sure what to
expect.

>>> Have you tried Outlook's "Detect and Repair" function? (I presume it's
still there in Outlook 2003 - I only have 2002). I do know that there are
some people who are successfully using both, so it should be possible
somehow. <<<

I didn't try this, as I *just* did the install, and had no errors or
problems. I will go ahead and try this when I get a chance.

>>> The logs are error free unfortunately. These problems are the hardest
to
solve, because it's not so much something that SpamBayes is doing as
something that Outlook is doing (probably).
Try deleting the toolbar (right-click, Customize, select, Delete) then
reopening Outlook (SpamBayes will automatically recreate it). Does that
help? You could also try moving aside the file \Documents and
Settings\{username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat which
fixes a lot of toolbar problems. <<<

I tried both of these with no luck. If the Detect and Repair doesn't work,
I'll have to schedule some time to do some low-level debugging. Should be
fun.

Thanks for your help. I'll let you know if I come across a resolution.

Randy
