[Spambayes] SpamBayes, IMAP, Thunderbird: Doesn't Work for Me!

Yes, unless you want to start up the filter manually each time.

In many ways, those links belong on the configuration page.  The problem is
that because they'll take you away to another page, they have to either open
in a new window, which could be confusing, or lose all other changes made to
the config page, or temporarily save the changes (meaning that it's a form
submit and not a link) so that the user can be brought back to the config
page to finish setting up afterwards.  No-one's figured out a good
workaround yet, hence the links on the main page.

I suspect that it means that you haven't entered (or it's missing from the
config for some reason) your username for connecting to the server.  This
has to be done (via the main configuration pages) before setting up the
folders.  It should deal with the error more nicely than this; I'll try and
fix that tomorrow.
