Do I remember something from any earlier post to the effect that the CVS 
version has improved logging? If so, can you give us a brief description? 
In looking for a "real project" to try out Python I've been considering a 
generic logger class. I'd hate to re-invent the wheel though - especially 
if the existing wheel is already rounder than one I would create *8=>).
