Summary: Improve methods for initial training!
Initial Comment:
I would love to have more options for training the
POP3Proxy under win32.
For example:
-use a command line tool to add existing mail files (*.txt)
to ham/spam training?
-(better) make it possible to forward _any_ message to
spambayes_ham at localhost, not just ones that already
got spambayes-classied. This would be a great one step
solutions for everyone who has an email program that can
bounce.
All in all there does not seem to be a proper way right
now to do initial training. But since it is vital to a good
spambayes experience, you should really consider adding
this feature.
Regards, Zak

1/ sb_mboxtrain or sb_filter or sb_upload should suffice,
depending on exactly what the requirements are.
2/ You can do this if you set the [smtpproxy] 'Lookup
message in cache' option to false. *However*, you really
ought to make sure that you're forwarding the message
exactly how it appeared (i.e. headers and all), otherwise
you'll end up training SpamBayes that (eg) messages from you
are spam.
BTW, initial training isn't particularly useful IMO. Start
out with train-on-mistakes, and after a dozen or so messages
classification will be pretty good, and you won't have
cluttered the database with unnecessary information.
