[spambayes-bugs] Feature Request: SMTP Scanning and classification

Is it possible to tag the mail as ham/spam/unsure while the mail is passing
through the SMTP filter?

Reason is, I would like to use spambayes to be accepting inbound connections
on port 25 and send to port 26 on localhost where I am running exchange
listening on port 26. This way I can just set filters on the Outlook
clients to put mail in specific directories based on the
X-SpamBayes-Classification header.

POPFile does this, but I really like having the spam and unsure seperation
that spambayes provides. To me it seems that the SMTP feature in spambayes
is only used for training when an email addressed to
spambayes_spam at localhost or spambayes_ham at localhost is passed through it.
