Initial Comment:
I recently installed spambayes version 006 for use with 
Outlook (I'm running XP) The product worked with no 
problem and was soon filtering my email. 
 

A few days later I was experiencing problems with my 
emails. In an attempt to isolate the problem, I removed 
spambayes from my system (It later turned out the email 
problem had nothing to do with spambayes). After 
resolving my email problem, I then reinstalled 
spambayes. Since the re-install I have not been able to 
get spambayes enabled, The spambayes button does 
appear on the toolbar but attempts to get too the 
spambayes configuration options since the spambayes 
button appears to be dead (it offers only toolbar 
options). I have since retried the 
removal/shutdown/restart/reinstall process several times 
but it still does not work.
 

I then went to the web and found a newer version of 
spambayes (007). I downloaded and installed that 
version today, but it has done nothing to resolve the 
problem. I have checked through your documentation 
and bug reports along with the subscription mailings and 
have not really found any answers for my problem.

This is a commonly reported bug that unfortunately we don't know
how to fix at this stage.  If you follow the "troubleshooting
guide"  - installed with SpamBayes, but also online at
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/spambayes/spambayes/Outlook2000/docs/troubleshooting.html.
You will find instructions for resetting the toolbars, which
generally fixes all toolbar related issues.  If it doesn't,
please reopen this bug giving further details.
