[SciPy-User] an example program for 3d plot

I saw example program in website "
http://matplotlib.sourceforge.net/examples/mplot3d/2dcollections3d_demo.html
" but i am not able to run it
It say that error as   projection ='3d' is not defined or not available.
how to plot matrix in 3d help me.
