Hi Robin,

I found that my problems were coming from having a complicated PATH,
LD_LIBRARY_PATH etc. So I cleaned up my .profile and .bashrc and deleted
all numpy and scipy that was created and started building from numpy.
It worked. I do have few failures in the tests for scipy, but they seem
mostly small numerical differences. Some others seems to be due to the
newness of scipy. Looks like some returns were changed.
Now I am trying to build the sfe package.
