A while ago I was talking to Eric Jones about creating a BSD network
pipeline network editor and he said that it should be possible to
create a simple first cut of such an application in a week if a bunch
of enthusiastic folks sat together and worked on it.  Perhaps someone
with the time should take Eric up on that offer (assuming of course
that Eric would be interested)?  This might be a good coding sprint
for SciPy07.
