[SciPy-user] GetDP: a General Environment for the Treatment of Discrete Problems

First the question, what is the best linux ditribution for installing 
scipy on a 64-bit operating system (in my case a dual opteron)?

Secondly, Travis do you know about the finite element program "getdp" 
(see link below).  Would it be reasonable to incorporate this program 
into scipy.  It has it's own scripting language which could be replaced 
by python?
