(Dizzy after going through tons of messages of this weekend,) I do not 
see where to subscribe to numpy-devel using the link above - all I see 
is numpy-discussion and numpy-user.

Otherwise I would support the Robert Kern's idea of having only numpy, 
scipy and numpy-discussion trio.
