[SciPy-dev] scipy release?

I know there have been scipy_core releases beaing cranked out by
Travis recently, but what about releases of the full scipy package?
Things like statistical distributions (not just random number
generators) are pretty important to have around. I am going to be
teaching a course to biology students that will be based on python,
and I'm wondering how long we will have to dive into svn to get builds
of the entire scipy.
