[scikit-learn] Heisenbug?

Any (further) suggestions folks?

BTW, when I say pudb fails to start, I mean it's tracebacking trying to get
None.fileno()  In other pieces of (C)Python code I've tried it in,
pudb.set_trace() worked nicely.
