[Pythonmac-SIG] Clean Tiger install and Python 2.4.1

TclTkAquaBI-8.4.9.1 has a serious flaw on my MacOS X 10.3 installation: 
Entry widgets have a large margin around the text. This is new as of 
8.4.9.1. If you see this on Tiger as well then I suggest you install 
8.4.9.0 instead.

Or, as another poster noted, just use the built in Aqua Tcl/Tk (you 
don't get the Tk/Tcl extensions but if your main interest is python then 
you may not care).

Anyone know what happens if you use the existing TclTkAqua installer to 
install the extensions but NOT Tcl and Tk?
