Wow, Chris!  Thanks very much.  I hate to give up EasyDialogs because, 
well, they're so easy, but your approach may be the answer.  The 
embedding of matplotlib in wx looks like a good thing to check out.  
Will do all.

Thanks very much for all the code.  Examples like this are great.
