However, AFAIK, Final Cut Pro only supports FXScript/FXBuilder and/or 
XML Interchange Format. (Apple's pretty shocking at providing Apple 
event interfaces to their own programs, especially pro-apps; e.g. see 
John C Welch wax lyrical on the subject:
