[Pythonmac-SIG] MySQLdb module installation, no lib?

There is a link from /usr/local/mysql to 
/usr/local/mysql-max-4.0.13-apple-darwin6.4-powerpc which contains 
mysqld.

>Typically it installs in /usr/local  How did you install MySQL?

I followed the instructions here 
<http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/mysql/>.  I just double 
clicked on the mysql-max-4.0.13.dmg file from 
<http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-4.0.html> and all was well and 
good.
