[Pythonmac-SIG] What is the future of Python on OSX?

I'm pretty much a newbie to Python on the Mac. I notice that there are
no less than three different distributions. Which one is going to turn
into the 'default' version for OSX allowing both cli use and an Aqua TK
IDLE? I've read through some of the posts in the archives which try to
explain this issue, but it just seems to be getting more complicated.
Is one of these distros taking the lead for offering mainstream Python
on OSX?

thanks,
Kurt
