Folks,
MacPython 2.2b2 is available. For your eyes only for the next 24
hours, and then I'll announce it to the rest of the world. Download it
from http://www.cwi.nl/ftp/jack/python/mac .

I'd really like people to beta test this release, as there are two
changes to the lowlevel infrastructure that may have more consequences
than intended (i.e. bad ones:-): there's a new GUSI library used for
I/O and the handling of events and command-. has been changed
significantly to fix some really old bugs.

Please let me know about problems ASAP,
