Is there an easy way to tell a running Python applet to quit from an AppleEvent? In particular, I'd like my machine to be able to restart or shutdown without having to command-period and menu/command-q quit it. At it is now, the shutdown/restart won't happen until I manually force the applet to quit. Thanks, david
