Jean-Claude Wippler has a beta of MetaKit for MacPython at

The documentation is for 1.0 - for 1.1, it may be necessary to adjust the
"load" command to use "Mk4py" (capitalized)

It's 'work in progress', so he's looking for feedback and bugreports... :-)
