Help Wanted!!

I have installed Python 2.2 on my iPAQ. Everything works fine when
testing in interactive mode. However, whenever I try to execute a program stored
in a folder, I get a trace back error message with a syntax
error at line number 1 usually. 
 
The following is an example of what I type in and the subsequent results:

 >>> My Documents\pyscripts\testpython.py
 Traceback (most recent call last):
   File "<string>:,line 1
      My Documents\pyscripts\testpython.py
             ^
 SyntaxError:invalid syntax
>>>>

Any pointers?
