Last weekend was spent packing up things, and this week was moving them to my new residence in Texas. Maybe in a couple of days the place will start looking like a livable house instead of a sea of boxes. I don't have any internet connection at the place yet, and there may be some electrical work needed on the house before things can be activated. Hopefully things will be in place at the beginning of October. General information and a link to the home page is here: http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi/SDXF/ Keep the good work going, Rafael Villar Burke From scratchcomputing at gmail.com Mon Sep 19 18:13:17 2005 From: scratchcomputing at gmail.com (Eric Wilhelm) Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2005 09:13:17 -0700 Subject: [PythonCAD] DXF python library In-Reply-To: <432E90CE.20603@mmn-arquitectos.com> References: <432E90CE.20603@mmn-arquitectos.com> Message-ID: <200509190913.17585.ewilhelm@cpan.org> # from Rafael Villar Burke # on Monday 19 September 2005 03:19 am: >I've just seen a python library to generate DXF files and it could be >useful for PythonCAD. >General information and a link to the home page is here: >http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi/SDXF/ Nice. I haven't made it as far as dxf write support with the uber-converter, so this may be useful. If anyone wants to pitch in, feel free to contact me. Read support for pythoncad files is already there, so if you're itching to export to dxf you just need to write rzp2dxf. This should be fairly painless, since rhizopod is mostly a sane view of dxf. http://scratchcomputing.com/projects/uber-converter/ --Eric -- Issues of control, repair, improvement, cost, or just plain understandability all come down strongly in favor of open source solutions to complex problems of any sort. --Robert G. Message-ID: <3547.70.244.37.239.1127749549.squirrel@webmail.airmail.net> Hi. After moving back to Texas due to Katrina, I had to spend the last couple of days getting out of the way of Rita. As the storm made landfall near the Texas/Louisiana border there was little damage in the area where I live. There was the possibility that I would get an internet connection this week, but the re may be a delay in that due to the storm. Art
