However, let us note that this is not a Pythonwin bug.  This is a 
Windows design flaw.  It happens with ANY app with a tray icon that dies 
unexpectedly.

If you hover your mouse over the icons, the dead icons will go away.  
"Harvest your zombies", as they might say in Linux.
