That fixed it!  I had over 3000 entries in registry directory:

    HKCU\Software\Python 2.3\Python for Win32

After uninstalling ActivePython, removing the 'Python for Win32' directory, and
reinstalling ActivePython, now I get 75 USER Objects.  Thanks very much!
