As in previous years we'll have a wide variety of data science and data engineering talks. First time speakers are sought, we have a mentorship programme for anyone who wants advice (but be quick!). Details here: https://pydata.org/london2019/ The conference is friendly to any level of data scientist or data engineer, the talks are practical and focus on the "job of doing data science" in practical settings. Here's last year's schedule for an idea: https://pydata.org/london2018/schedule/ We've always sold out of our tickets so please think about buying early. The quality of the networking at the event and in the socials is brilliant. We've signed a number of sponsorship deals but we have room for some more if you're expanding your data science team. It used to be the case that you would never use the words 'high performance' and 'python' in the same sentence. The Intel(r) distribution of Python changes all that. In this session we show how you can speed up your Python code using Intel(r)'s distribution. We also show how you can parallelise your python code, and how to use Intel(r) Parallel Studio to profile and identify time-consuming bottlenecks. Intel(r) Parallel Studio XE includes a suite of developer tools that enable you to maximise and improve the performance of your code using various techniques such as parallelism and vectorisation. Grey Matter is proud to be an Intel(r) Software Elite Reseller. We can provide licensing and advice on the Intel(r) Software tools available. We are hosting this webinar with Stephen Blair-Chappell from Bayncore, an Intel(r) Partner that provides consultancy and training on code modernisation with Intel(r) developer tools. Message-ID: Hi folks, The London Python Dojo often has a series of venues lined up a few months ahead. But right now we don't have any venues arranged for May, June & July. We rely on the generosity of companies across London to offer refreshments and space for socialising with a dose of fun coding of an evening. In return developers get to know who you are as a company and value your contribution to this volunteer run meetup. Perhaps the place you work would be interested? If so, please get in touch with us at team at ldnpydojo.org.uk We generally run on the first Thursday of the month, so May's Dojo could very well be on Thurs 2nd May. (careful clicking reply to this email, it defaults to emailing the list!) Many thanks, Tom https://twitter.com/ldnpydojo -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
