Nokia owns about 50% of the smartphone market, and Apple probably is
only in 3th-5th place as a smartphone manufacturer.  So even if there
might be a perception created by marketing[*] that Apple/iPhones are
popular in the smartphone market, they are no more than a "subtopper" in
reality.

Of course, I'm not sure what that says about the use of python vs. ruby
in web development...
