I answer: "Yes, I am the Chairperson of Python Nigeria and as such,
everyday is an activity for me. Thanks for reaching out. Our site,
http://www.pythonnigeria.org/ is up and we have been planning a PyCon and
other activities."

As for the PSF grant, I'm also active.

Emeka has gotten across to me and we have discussed, but then, after the
matter was tabled before our committee, there were reservations about
HyperionDev and it is not cool at all.

HyperionDev has been known, according to reports we got from those you have
engaged in the past, to:
1. renege on their promises;
2. have endless interviews;
3. give people work to do without adequate compensation;
4. and even telling someone that she's not qualified because she didn't
study Computer Science.

Riaz, in as much as we would have loved to be committed to working with
HyperionDev, the antecedents do not look cool with us and, going forward,
we would love to support any of our over 500 members to avoid a recurrence.

You asked for a chat- I am on portable3w on Skype, if you wish, we could
also do a Google Hangout. After the chat, I would love to table the matter,
once more with our committee, and based on what they say, I will get back
to you.

But then, I would like to tell you the truth: the committee needs to be
convinced that the interests of our members will at no time be toyed with
anymore. And asking for compensation for previous people would also be a
good way to mend relationship.
