Hello all,

My name is Abdul-Hakeem Shaibu, a fellow python enthusiast “pythonista” reaching out from Kano. It’s soooooo painful that am quite far away from “where it’s all happening”, however with this mailing-list and the slack channel I suppose I’d be well informed of all that’s going on.

So far I’m loving the energy and ideas put forth by members, and sincerely hope the “tempo” is sustained.  Kudos to the organizers of the first meetup and other upcoming events. With some pointers I suppose I’d finally get my acts together and put up a meetup over here as well, hopefully!

Looking forward to learning, collaborating, contributing and having a good time in the community! Won’t mind getting an invite to the slack channel as well.
