Consider:

$ /usr/bin/python3.11 -X dev stuff.py
/tmp/stuff.py:4: DeprecationWarning: invalid escape sequence '\d'
   rex = re.compile('Version: \d+.\d+.\d+.*', re.MULTILINE)
