A newbie doubt on methods/functions calling

Well I jump from TCL to Python. And found that it was very convenient to use Procs there. So I was looking for that luxury in Python. 

I am not trying to reinvent the wheel. I was just curious to know if there is any possibility to create a caller function in  my way (TCL) where I can call python function/proc inside myProc.
