Hello,

This is Python 3.3.2 on Linux.
I downloaded Setuptools (
https://pypi.python.org/packages/source/s/setuptools/setuptools-14.3.tar.gz),
exploded the tarball, and I get:

python setup.py build
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 1521, in
_find_and_load_unlocked
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute '__path__'

During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

  File "setup.py", line 21, in <module>
    exec(init_file.read(), command_ns)
  File "<string>", line 11, in <module>
