You could not be more wrong.

More than 99% is a stupendous majority, while within 95 to 99% is a tremendous majority.
From the official "Majority rating" 2015 edition, a vast majority would be between 87 and 87.6%.

Of course this is only valid in the northern hemisphere (my apologies for stating the obvious).
