The same is true for all numbers leading up to 10.

for i in range(12):
     print('{} % 10 == {}'.format(i, i % 10))

0 % 10 == 0
1 % 10 == 1
2 % 10 == 2
3 % 10 == 3
4 % 10 == 4
5 % 10 == 5
6 % 10 == 6
7 % 10 == 7
8 % 10 == 8
9 % 10 == 9
10 % 10 == 0
11 % 10 == 1

You can see that with the divmod() function also.
