cpmplex function call

Dear all,
 

Suppose I have function with with 10
args:

"def foo(arg1,arg2,arg3,arg4.....): "

I need to call somtimes with arg1 , somtimes arg1, arg4, , somtimes arg 4 , arg7 , my program doesn't specify to type of call. 

Does python same way to help me?
