Vectors are magnitude with direction, often represented by 1-d array of 
projections on coordinate axes. If a = 1,2,3 and b = 3,2,1 are 
(mathematical) vectors, then a+b = 4,4,4; 2*a = 2,4,6; and a*b = (3+4+3) 
= 10.
