Clarification: nobody knows for sure how smart any given baby is, but 
certainly some babies are going to be very smart indeed. Illiteracy 
is clearly not a measure of unsmartness.

When I use the word "illiterate", I am describing, not insulting. 
Likewise, when I use the word "literate", I am describing, not 
praising.
