NamedTemporaryFile() can have an extra argument 'delete', which, if True
(the default), deletes the file after it's closed.
Try:
temp = tempfile.NamedTemporaryFile(suffix='_suffix',
prefix='prefix_', dir='/tmp', delete=False)
instead.
