Exclude Directories from os.walk

You then have to also check the base:

for d in dirs[:]:
 if os.path.join(base, d) == EXCLUDED_DIR
   dirs.remove(d)

or

if base == EXCLUDED_DIR
  while dirs: dirs.pop()
continue
