IMHO the best platform right now is:

 Apache 2 on Linux
 mod_python or mod_wsgi
 Postgresql database with psycopg connector
 SQL Alchemy database abstraction
 Pylons, Django or your toolkit of choice.

Which products in particular?  Some yes, some no.
